Concerto Recording and Mastering (formerly Masterpiece Mastering Suite), is primarily a multi-genre digital audio mastering facility that also specializes in classical concert/recital recording and classical recording sessions. Concerto is owned and operated by Grammy Award winning (2006) recording engineer David Yost.

The mastering room is located in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. It utilizes top quality monitoring and processing equipment, The on-location recording equipment includes a collection of the finest microphones, preamps, and high resolution recorders available.

Concerto is equally capable in the audio disciplines of recording and mastering. Both disciplines are similar in that they demand close attention to acoustic detail and artistic integrity in order to achieve the most accurate recordings.

In mastering, David offers seventeen years of experience having mastered over five hundred projects (please see credits) that include classical, rock, country, jazz, gospel, vocal, R&B and hip hop.

David's thirty-eight years of experience in recording has developed from the hundreds of live performance and studio sessions all over the Cleveland area, in addition to Cleveland State University, where he resides as full time audio engineer in the music department.  His experience includes years of recording sessions with The Cleveland Chamber Symphony, The Cleveland Comtemporary Players, The Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Contemporary Youth Orchestra in residence at Cleveland State University.

His approach to each project is the same: plan, execute, and make it sound the best it can, all at a reasonable cost.

With Concerto, you get experience, world class equipment, attention to detail, and a product you will be proud of.
